Game: Tony Hawk 2x
By: Nathan Petersen Tony Hawk 2x is just not a game but 2 games put together. Why you ask?? If you have a Sega Dreamcast you know Neversoft has made Tony Hawks Proskater and Tony hawks Proskater 2. Well in Tony Hawks Proskater 2x all the levels from Tony Hawks Proskater 1 & and 2 are in the game. Plus there are 5 new levels in the game, so this game is packed! Trust me you will not get board playing this game at all. This game has the basic game modes such as create a skater, career mode, single session, free skate, and of course the famous multi-player feature.

You might say all this sounds good but how does the game play? If you have never played the first and second game the control is very easy. You can maneuver rather easy and do tricks with ease. Although there maybe one downfall overall in the game the music tracks are the same, there is no knew music tracks added. But you do not need to worry just go pick up some CDR W disks for you computer burn the music you like, stick that puppy in the Xbox and rip the tracks while you are playing your Tony Hawk game.

The levels include: the hanger: Mullet Falls, Montana, School 2: southern California, Contest 1: Marseille, France, The big apple, New York city, New York, The warehouse, Burnside phoenix, Chicago, contest 3: Mexico, Venice beach, California, contest 2: Ventura, California, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, club London, Construction site, California, Contest 4: Skate park of Tampa Florida, and Minneapolis, School 1. Now to me that's A LOT of levels. If you have never played Tony Hawks proskater 1 & 2 this game is definitely worth a purchase.

The pros in the game include Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Steve Calallero, Kareem Campbell, Rune Glifburg, Eric Koston, Bucky Lasek, Rodney Mullen, (the king of street skating) Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Elissa Steamer, and Jamie Thomas. They are all in the 1 & 2 versions of Tony Hawks Proskater.

The skate park editor hasn't changed a lot since its first appearance in Tony Hawks proskater 1 & 2. It has the basic items: Gap Tool, Risers, Quarter pipes, Rails, Walls, Stairs, pools, Kickers, and Benches. You can also add some scenery greenery like Trees and bushes. There are also 6 new themes available in Tony Hawk 2x. Themes are the backgrounds of you skate park. If you want to make a gap there are like always 5 types of gaps. They include: Air gap, Rail gap, Manual gap, and wallride gap. I know I have enjoyed this game and so will you. I rate it a 9.5 out of a 10.
