![]() Stuntman is a very unique and different game for the PS2, but first off I want you to know that Stuntman isn't for everyone. Some people find the game TOO Frustrating! As I've mentioned this game is immensely frustrating unless you can keep your cool. The controls and physics for the cars in this game Rock! The speed fits each car perfectly and it makes the game feel as if you're the stuntman. The only physics problem there is in this game is the weight of the cars. A.K.A. The Monster Truck floats and bounces like a feather! The stunt Constructor for the game is good especially for replay value. There is some big slowdown when you crash into three billboard signs when in the arena though. The toys I feel are limited. There could have been more. Your own stunts make you feel great. You can only fit a small amount of things into the arena due to the very low memory so you can not do a long set of stunts cause it seems like more little tiny sets of stunts. There is a bit of replay value in this game besides the stunt constructor because you can work on the Speed tests, Precision tests and the very cool Stunt Tests. Plus you'll want to redo the career mode more than once trust me. Stuntman has excellent looking graphics, which are standard for the PS2.The cars in the game and all the objects are all look great. Everything was greatly modeled and the levels that you race in and pull stunts off in are also greatly made. Stuntman has many great features. The main mode in which you'll play is the Stuntman Career. In it you must complete all the stunts in each scene in order to continue and make the movie trailer. Next you got driving games which test your speed and there are a few stunt games here as well but not too many. Everything here is rather easy. Next is the Stunt Arena where you can use any car and toy that you have unlocked to create your own stunts. Better yet you can save them and have a friend try your stunts. There are even some DVD Extras like an Interview and more. The story for Stuntman may be a bit basic, but the films scenes flow okay together. You are a rookie stuntman and work your way up to become a great Hollywood stuntman and get paid more as you go along. The money is only for your ranking in the business and can't be used for anything else. There are six movies in the game with up to five scenes each. There are also small arena stunts to perform after each movie, which can be pretty fun, but not all of them are. Plus for each scene you complete in each movie you unlock special stunt equipment and cars to use in the stunt arena. Stuntman's sound and music is just wonderful .Not much in the way of music but the sounds are good. You hear your car and any others that happen to be real close by. The main thing you hear (and it helps too) is the director shouting out instructions to you and this helps if you don't know what to do. You can keep playing Stuntman all the time, for there is always plenty to do in this game that will keep you going for long. First you have got to play Stuntman Career and unlock everything possible. Next you'll want to try to beat all the Driving games. Finally you should try out the Stunt Arena and make your own Stunts with toys you have unlocked. You may also want to save your stunt arena and challenge a friend. This game is definitely a must buy game. There are some great features that will keep you entertained. Everything you see looks great and the game is so fun giving you a few great reasons you must buy stuntman. Anyway this is like a one of a kind game. There are not really any other games that let you pull off stunts like Stuntman does. This game is for hardcore gamers and gamers who wont get easily frustrated. This is a game to buy! If you have no imagination the game's replay ability will almost be gone with the Stunt Constructor. I also have to mention it has DVD bonuses like behind the scenes making, a video demo, and the Stuntman commercial, a Driver 3 teaser! (Not all that good though), and some interviews. I give Stuntman for the PS2 a 7/10.
