Game: Spy Hunter

I recently got Spy Hunter for Xbox, and all I can say so far the game is one of the best spy/agent/racing games I have ever played. In this game you get a really fantastic car. The car is called the G-6155 Interceptor it is a highly advanced vehicle that has a built in state of the art computer system. I mean this car is loaded with weapons such as Machine guns, missiles and you can switch to which weapon system you want. All you do is hit the Left trigger button on the bottom of the Xbox controller. This will switch to missiles or machine guns on the front of the sports car. Your car can even splirt out smoke out the back of the cars bumper area.

This car can change to a boat, motor cycle and of course a car. When the Interceptor becomes heavily damaged the car changes into a one-man vehicle that is still very dangerous to reckon with. This motorcycle doesn’t have the full arsenal that the Interceptor has but is equally dangerous.

Also the Interceptor is equipped with GPS (global Positioning System) tracking units. These GPS tracking units can be fired on anything that IES wants to track, it can be (IES is merged with you) a boat, truck or any vehicle IES wants to track. But unfortunately not all of the weaponry can affect NOSTRA vehicles, choppers or trucks. But a lot of it can. NOSTRA is your enemy it wants to take over the world with satellites and build its on world and you have to stop them from doing it. Are you ready? You better be! If you are being followed by NOSTRA agents then use you cars special features like an Oil slick, smoke screen, or flamethrower. Your choice J. Blow those crappy enemies goodbye.

Also your car will get badly damaged in a mission but do not fear because you have IES with you. They will send out trucks, boats out to you wherever you are. All you do is drive into the vehicle and you will be armed with more destructive weaponry and get 100% damage free. You will be notified if they are close by so don’t worry, you will not miss them.

Did you ever watch that show on USA called nightrider? Well if you did remember that black firebird named kit that had a computer system and he could talk. This game in some way is kind of like that show. Well you see if KIT (the car) need a repair it drove into a semi truck and got repaired there. Unfortunately this car had not weapons but it was like that car was alive. It may sound crazy but they had missions in the show and stuff. It was a really cool show, but is not on anymore. Okay well anyway back to the game.

Your Interceptor is equipped with 9mm guns, 15mm guns, 25mm guns, unguided missiles, guided missiles, swarmer missiles, EMP, and rail guns, oil slick, smoke screen, and Flamethrower. At first you car is only equipped with 9mm guns and unguided missiles. The interceptor will come equipped with two pairs of 9mm guns on the front of the interceptor. The 9mm guns are powerful enough to pass some of the early missions. But do not worry you will get more guns and weaponry upon your arrival. Your car will upgraded when you pass more missions so you will get more action. But eventually you will need more powerful weapons to defeat NOSTRA.

With 15mm guns you will notice that it is easier to destroy you enemies. You will be able to carry more 15mm ammunition. Which is a very good thing when you are in the missions. It will defeat you enemies faster and target them quicker as well. The latest upgrade to the interceptor is 25mm guns, which is equally as powerful of on any NASTRA trucks, cars and so forth. Unguided missiles are very powerful as well and the interceptor has them equipped early in the game, which is nice. Aim carefully with these missiles you don’t get very much. Guided missiles on the other hand are more destructive and can lock onto any NOSTRA enemy you want it to. They can fire from long distances away from your enemy they are quick and highly destructive.

Swarmer missiles are the finale upgrade to the interceptor. You can fire multiple missiles causing vast destruction. Unfortunately this missile is only equipped on the interceptor to that you will get later on in the game. Emp weapons fire a bolt of electromagnetic energy that is capable of disrupting electrical equipment. This can also lock onto targets and is available on the interceptor 2. Rail guns are also available with the interceptor two cars. When fired the rail gun releases a burst of highly charged particles that obliterate any target in its line of fire. The rail gun is the best weapon in the IES’s arsenal.

The oil slick system fires out the back of you car and causes the enemies to slide around and unable to catch up to you. I would use this when NOSTRA cars are following you. I believe I have covered quite a bit of material concerning Spy Hunter. Now this is what you do you go the your local entertainment store and you purchase this game. It is seriously the best spy game I have seen for awhile. Or at least rent it. You wont be sorry, trust me. I rate this game a 10/10
