NBA 2k2 for Xbox
Review by: Walsh

NBA 2K2 for the xbox is in my opinion the best B-ball game out for the xbox as of yet. The Crossovers are really Superb. You can get past the defender when you have to drive to the hole. Pump faking is somewhat effective, but not at all as effective as in NBA Inside drive. But who cares about That? The ball looks good coming out of the players hand when he starts shooting. All you need is the smallest area to shoot and they will swish it.

All the different camera angles you can choose from is unbelievable. They put in just about every single angle. From real NBA camera angles to side angles. There is a good Variation of dunks and lay-ups but they could of put a lot more in the game. The "create-a-player" is quite detailed with Several different sunglasses, tattoos, hair and styles. You can even adjust the size of the arms, chest, Legs, ECT. You can start a season also just play a exhibition match or play on a street court 2 on 2 to 5 on 5 or just practice your shots.

The Graphics are overall fairly realistic. The worst part I think are the faces, most of them look all the same( eyes narrow, lips big, nose big.) But when you get to Allen Iverson, Shaq and other stars their faces are really accurate. It's like Sega didn't care about all the bad players and made all the stars almost perfect. It's pretty weird, also their bodies and everything else is very well detailed. This happens to almost all the Baskteball games where arms and legs go through each other sometimes. Sorry to say it happens in this game too.

The audio is very good. From Grunts to shoe sounds you hear every aspect of the game. When you crossover your shoes screech. When your fouled when shooting you can hear grunts. there is some music also between playing and during playing. Also you got the crowd. They chant, they boo, they make remarks like" Come on Lakers." or " You can do it." The crowd is really into the ball game. And with the play by play Announcers the audio part is very very well developed in this game.

I would recommend this game to any B-ball fan. even if you kind-of like basketball get this game.

Presentation
The graphics are not to bad. The only thing that isnt good is that they make all the stars look good and all the rest of the players look the same, very fun though.
